I once wrote a story about being stood up on Valentine’s Day. That story first appeared in Evangel, and later, in several other publications. Sounds simple, yet not so much! Here’s the reason why: like many of us, I had a lifetime of things I wanted to tell the world in that one little story :).
How was I to distill all those ideas, all those experiences, into something anybody wanted to read?

Ever wanted to publish your backlist titles as eBooks? Recently, I released my 2007 novel, Chocolate Beach, on Kindle and Nook. I can't tell you everything there is to know about creating an eBook...yet. However, I have managed to get a few things right ~ while still working out the kinks of others. Hi Friends~ Julie Carobini here from the foggy California coast. Believe it or not, I'm shy. Family and friends might laugh because once I get to know people, this is not the case. Still I'm NOT the person who walks into the room and says, "Hey, everybody! Look at me!"

Some writers are, but many, many (many!) suffer from the shyness factor. So how do we writers, who are expected to get out there and sell our books, overcome this malady?

It's Black Friday--the official first day of Christmas shopping--and for some, the day brings on sweat and anxiety. I happen to be one of those who do NOT shop on this day--except for one year of madness when I was drawn in by a killer sale on southwestern snow globes. The anxiety (i.e., panic) that drives this day will either get you out there to wait in line with the masses at 7 a.m. or freeze you in your tracks.
