Writing is a solitary business. We work in quiet corners, prayerfully plumbing the depths of our own minds. When we are done, we ship off our efforts. Then we discuss it with our editor, work it over and move on to the next project. When we have the chance we talk to other authors about writing in general, but the work itself can be, well, lonely. That's why it is so important to communicate with our readers at every opportunity.
