As published authors, we long to share our victories and struggles with regards to marketing and promotion. Great write up Pam and it helps novices understand that the "perfect" first novel can go through many, many revisions before being purchased. I'm going to be talking to some 7th graders about being an author in a couple of weeks so the information and reminders were timely.
